What They Do
SYNAPSUN is a French B2B solar-energy company specializing in photovoltaic supply-chain services and distribution tailored for professional customers (source: synapsun.com). Their core business focuses on supplying PV modules, inverters, and batteries, leveraging global sourcing and supply-chain expertise to serve energy professionals across France and Europe (source: euro-energie.com). SYNAPSUN supports clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, from technical selection and contractualization to factory follow-up, quality control, logistics, storage, and project monitoring via their proprietary Synapsun.com portal (source: fr.goodwe.com). Their offerings cover a wide range of solar segments including commercial and industrial installations, ground-mounted utility-scale plants, agrivoltaics, floating solar, and shade structures (source: euro-energie.com). The company positions itself as a photovoltaic modules expert and a strategic supply-chain partner rather than a simple equipment reseller, emphasizing quality control, traceability, and technical training (source: synapsun.com).
Projects & Track Record
SYNAPSUN’s track record is primarily commercial and supply-chain oriented, with a focus on serving professional B2B clients in the solar sector rather than direct project construction. Their expertise spans multiple solar segments including commercial and industrial solar rooftops, utility-scale ground-mounted plants, agrivoltaics, floating solar, and shade structures across France and Europe (source: euro-energie.com). The company’s team brings approximately 15 years of combined experience in the photovoltaic sector, reinforcing their deep industry knowledge (source: prospeo.io). Recently, SYNAPSUN expanded its product portfolio by partnering with GoodWe to include inverters and batteries, enhancing their ability to manage complete solar equipment lots from technical selection to site delivery (source: fr.goodwe.com). This strategic partnership underscores their role as a comprehensive supply-chain and procurement partner for solar projects (source: enfsolar.com).
Recent Developments
In recent years, SYNAPSUN has notably broadened its expertise beyond photovoltaic modules to include inverters and batteries through a strategic partnership with GoodWe, signaling a significant expansion of their product and service offerings (source: fr.goodwe.com). The company actively publishes technical content aimed at educating solar professionals, such as a detailed comparative analysis of glass-backsheet versus dual-glass TOPCon module architectures, covering aspects like durability, moisture resistance, degradation, and maintenance (source: synapsun.com). SYNAPSUN also maintains an active presence on LinkedIn for updates and communications, reinforcing its engagement with the professional solar community (source: fr.goodwe.com).
Working There
SYNAPSUN employs approximately 30 people across six departments, with roles spanning product management, technical leadership, sales, engineering, logistics, quality control, and marketing (source: prospeo.io). The company’s headquarters in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon serves as the central hub for its commercial solar distribution operations (source: euro-energie.com). Publicly named roles include Product Owner and Technical Director & Co-Founder, indicating a structured leadership and product development environment (source: prospeo.io). SYNAPSUN publishes materials in both English and French, suggesting a multilingual workplace culture that supports international communication and collaboration (source: synapsun.com).
