Job Description

Would you like to kickstart your career in the renewable energy sector and work with a broad range of tasks within Corporate Finance? As our new Student Assistant, you will get the opportunity to build on your theoretical knowledge from your studies to develop your skills further. The team

You will join our Corporate Finance team, department which today consists of 25 colleagues and covers Treasury and FP&A, playing a key role in strengthening forward-looking financial management at European Energy. The team works with financial planning, forecasting, project financing, liquidity management, and supporting strategic investment decisions across solar, wind, BESS, and PtX projects. You will be based at our Copenhagen headquarters and become part of a highly collaborative and international environment within a team working closely across Treasury and FP&A functions.

How you will create an impact

You will support the teams and gain broad exposure across Corporate Finance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the main driver of monthly reporting and follow-up on financial forecasts
  • Supporting DevEx and CapEx forecasting for renewable energy projects across multiple markets
  • Assisting with liquidity and cash flow tracking at portfolio and project level
  • Supporting project financing activities, including preparation of documentation for banks and drawdowns
  • Contributing to process improvements and development of financial tools and procedures
  • Performing ad-hoc financial analysis and supporting ongoing finance projects across FP&A and Treasury

To thrive in the role we imagine

  • You are currently in the last year of your bachelor's degree or have started your master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • You are fully proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • You have strong Excel skills; experience with PowerPoint and Power BI is an advantage

You are detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a desire to learn and grow, as you will work in a high-paced and multidisciplinary environment. You can combine analytical skills with a good understanding of how to manage stakeholders to drive strategically important projects and tasks.
