Your new role

As our new Accountant, you will be responsible for accounting for Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian companies in the EE group. You will be a part of an accounting team of three and coordinate tasks in cooperation with the Head of Finance, Baltics. Externally, you will collaborate and interact with external accounting and tax advisors as well as local authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Accounts payable handling and other bookkeeping in multiple companies
  • Bank payments handling
  • Financial reconciliation of accounts
  • Period End task
  • Support of Finance Controller and Head of Finance with periodical and ad hoc tasks
  • Cooperation with finance colleagues in Denmark, auditors, and internal departments
  • Optimizations of tasks and processes.

Your Profile

    • 2 years of experience in Accounting and Finance from a similar position with knowledge of general accounting principles
  • A degree in Accounting or Finance and basic VAT understanding
  • Good knowledge of financial compliance in Lithuania and possibly Estonia and Latvia
  • Experienced Excel user and Microsoft ERP systems (Business Central) preferably
  • Preferably you have experience in process automatization and AI applications
  • You speak native Lithuanian and English fluently.

As a person, you are analytical, thorough and structured, and you're motivated by delivering timely and accurately. You have good interpersonal and communication skills and find yourself working well with internal stakeholders across departments and at all levels, as well as external stakeholders.
