Job Description

EStorage is seeking a Learning & Development Partner to design and deliver scalable, global learning programs incorporating Workday Learning. This role partners closely with business leaders to build training, enhance Canadian Solar University, and drive a high-impact learning strategy across the organization.

Responsibilities

Canadian Solar University

  • Lead the development and evolution of Canadian Solar University programs based on business priorities.
  • Ensure compliance, EHS, Service, HR, and department-specific training and learning paths are set up accurately, on time, with effective tracking and reporting.
  • Develop digital eLearning solutions including SCORM packages using Articulate, Rise, Camtasia and other development software.
  • Establish quality standards for instructional design: ensuring all learning adheres to proper learning design principles (ADDIE) and LMS system quality requirements.
  • Generate and analyze regular and ad hoc reports from the LMS.
  • Drive data-informed decision-making by generating, analyzing, and presenting LMS metrics, dashboards, and insights to stakeholders.

Program Management

  • Own end-to-end lifecycle global learning programs:, including strategy, design, planning, execution, communications, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and improvement performance management processes.
  • Partner with HR business partners to design and implement a comprehensive global onboarding and new hire experience.
  • Update and deliver the new manager training program.
  • Collaborate with regional HR leaders to design and scale coaching initiatives.
  • Partner with the EHS team to manage and implement global training programs within the LMS, ensuring accuracy, quarterly updates, and reporting.
  • Design and launch competency-based learning campaigns aligned to organizational values and career levels.
  • Design and develop the next generation leadership program.

  • Build and maintain internal intranet for global consumption.
  • Analyze learning data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities; recommend and implement improvements.

Vendor and Partner Relationships

  • Evaluate, recommend and manage learning and technology partners to support the Canadian Solar University learning and development initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and assess effectiveness of solutions including performance evaluation, ROI assessment, and continuous optimization of solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to learning and development to identify potential partnerships and innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in training and development, education, psychology or related fields or 5-7 years equivalent work experience, preferably in a training role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in facilitation and executive-level presentation in-person and across virtual environments.
  • Strong experience with enterprise LMS platforms (Workday highly preferred).
  • Proven ability to leverage AI and digital tools to enhance learning design, personalization, and delivery.
  • Learning and Development: Experience designing and delivering learner experiences and/or programs live and/or virtually; strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong project and program management capabilities, with experience managing complex, fast-paced initiatives and multiple stakeholders.
  • Consultative mindset: Ability to understand stakeholder needs, be responsive to feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and customize deliverables to stakeholder needs.
