Job Description

Location: Oregon
Please note - candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned territory. This role is approximately 80% field-based and 20% remote, requiring regular travel throughout Oregon.

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Field Account Manager for HVAC Programs!

In this role, you will serve as a key field-based representative supporting residential energy efficiency programs, with a strong focus on HVAC distributor partnerships. You will own and grow distributor relationships, collaborate closely with account managers and internal teams, and drive program participation through strategic outreach, training, and promotional initiatives.

  • Build and own relationships with HVAC distributors, serving as the primary point of contact while identifying and recruiting new distributor partners
  • Work closely with account managers, contractors, and trade allies to support program participation and ensure alignment across the HVAC ecosystem
  • Spend significant time in the field delivering training, tool support, and ongoing relationship management, acting as an extension of the program team
  • Develop and execute promotional strategies and initiatives to increase adoption of energy-efficient technologies, including outreach to underserved communities
  • Collaborate internally with operations (including Erik Falk and program staff) to ensure distributors and partners receive timely support on payments, submissions, and program processes
  • Track market activity, including distributor purchasing trends, contractor relationships, and manufacturer alignment, to inform program strategy and improvements

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have...

  • 4+ years of experience in sales, account management, energy efficiency programs, or HVAC industry-related roles
  • Strong experience building and maintaining partner and client relationships, ideally within distributor or contractor networks
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role, managing a defined territory and traveling frequently
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent organizational, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and general reporting systems
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel regularly throughout the region

Target Compensation

$78,000.00/annual

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

$62,700.00 - $94,100.00
