Blue Power Partners is seeking an experienced, technically credible leader to join our consultancy business as Senior Director (Co‑Lead), Technical Advisory.
In this role, you will jointly lead one of our largest and strategically important divisions, combining deep technical credibility, strong people leadership, and commercial orientation. Together with a fellow Senior Director, you will shape how BPP brings its technical advisory capabilities to market globally, building on an already strong technical foundation.
Blue Power Partners is a global end‑to‑end techno‑commercial advisory and delivery partner for renewable energy infrastructure projects. About the Job
You will join BPP Consultancy's Technical Advisory Division, a well‑established and operational organization with a global footprint and strong technical reputation. The division covers the full technical lifecycle of renewable energy and Power‑to‑X projects - from early feasibility and system design through execution support and technical risk management.
Technical Advisory is organized into two core subdivisions:
- Power & Electrification (grid connection, electrical engineering, SCADA/telecoms, geospatial engineering, and hybrid integration)
- PtX & Molecules (Power‑to‑X and green molecules such as hydrogen and ammonia, including process engineering and system integration)
As Senior Director (Co‑Lead), you will act as a joint leader of the division under BPP's Leadership in Pairs model, sharing accountability for strategy, people leadership, commercial development, and delivery excellence.

You will play a vital role in ensuring that BPP's technical advisory remains:

- Commercially relevant

Your main responsibilities
- Jointly lead the Technical Advisory Division, including responsibility for Directors and Heads of
- Strengthen client engagement and support the origination of new advisory assignments globally
- Ensure high‑quality delivery across technical advisory engagements (due diligence, feasibility studies, grid studies, permitting, technical integration, etc.)
- Build upon and further execute an established commercial growth strategy for Technical Advisory
- Develop and empower senior technical leaders and multidisciplinary teams across regions
- Oversee resource planning, capability development, quality standards, and risk mitigation
- Act as an external representative and thought leader for BPP within the renewable energy sector
Your daily work will be based in Aalborg or Copenhagen, with a flexible hybrid set-up and regular international collaboration and travel.
About You
Success in this role depends on your ability to lead in a technically driven, international, and performance‑oriented environment, where credibility, clarity, and collaboration are essential.
You are a senior leader who combines strong technical understanding with commercial insight, and who can engage with senior engineers and clients on both substance and strategy.
Preferably, you bring:
- A Master's degree in Engineering or a closely related field
- 10-15+ years of experience within technical advisory, engineering consulting, or renewable energy project development
- Proven experience leading large‑scale engineering or technical organizations (typically 80-100+ technical professionals)
- Credibility to engage senior engineers and discipline heads on technical substance
- Strong commercial understanding and experience supporting client engagement, tenders, or solution packaging
- Experience working in global or matrix organizations
- Fluency in English (Danish is an advantage)
- A leadership style that is trust‑based, structured, quality‑driven, and inclusive
