Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Support the design-in activities at major worldwide customers, with a focus on Asian PV (Photovoltaic) and ESS (Energy Storage Systems) markets (e.g.: technical guidance, facilitating the integration of our products and ensuring customer satisfaction)
  • Identify Technical Market Trends, as well as of Customer- and Application Requirements and translate these insights into product requirements, ensuring they meet the evolving demands of the renewable energy market
  • Shaping the product line strategy for new solutions by technical investigations and early concept estimations in close collaboration with our R&D experts and marketing teams
  • Acting as "internal customer" in development teams to ensure that the development status is in line with the market and customer needs
  • Publication of new products or technology features (e.g. by trainings / papers / conferences) and Infineon internal know-how share

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, alternatives are Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Strong interest in power electronics and semiconductors with several years of relevant professional experience in R&D, technical marketing or similar
  • A faible for technical customer handling, leveraging strong organizational and problem-solving skills to lead and coordinate complex topics
  • High communication skills, open mindset and the ability to establish and maintain social networks with internal and external partners
  • Ability to act as a product strategist with a sense for shaping future product roadmaps that meet future business demands
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken); German skills would be an additional advantage
  • Willingness to undertake international business travel, particularly intercontinental trips (approximately three times per year, one week per trip)
