What They Do

Omnidian is a technology-enabled service company specializing in performance assurance and asset management for distributed solar and battery storage systems across residential and commercial markets. Founded by solar industry veterans, the company leverages proprietary technology to provide continuous monitoring and real-time diagnostics that identify underperformance and root causes, ensuring optimal energy generation (source: omnidian.com). Their service offering includes a cash-back energy guarantee, comprehensive maintenance coverage for both hardware and software components, and nationwide service coordination, positioning Omnidian as a full-service partner rather than just a software provider (source: builtinseattle.com). The company serves a diverse customer base including homeowners, commercial businesses, solar developers, financing providers, independent power producers, corporations, real estate investors, and asset managers, emphasizing a "Solar Without Fear" approach that combines proactive monitoring with technical troubleshooting and repair coordination (source: startupintros.com). Projects & Track Record

Recent Developments

In April 2025, Omnidian secured an $87 million investment round led by B Capital Group, with participation from notable investors including Activate Capital, Liberty Mutual Investments, National Grid Partners, WIND Ventures, Marunouchi Innovation Partners, BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund, Citi Impact Fund, and Alumni Ventures, underscoring strong investor confidence in the company’s growth trajectory (source: geekwire.com). This financing follows a $25 million venture round in October 2023, reflecting sustained capital inflows to support Omnidian’s expansion plans (source: startupintros.com). Job Description

Omnidian, Inc. is a fast-growing Series C tech-enabled service company revolutionizing performance assurance for the distributed solar and energy storage industries. Omnidian is building a more sustainable future for the planet through our passionate teams, our innovative technology, and by creating an amazing customer experience. We are a certified B Corp, headquartered in Seattle, WA

As the Senior Product Manager for our Residential business line, you will be the primary product leader responsible for scaling our footprint in the residential solar and energy storage market. Your primary focus will be on our Third-Party Ownership (TPO) product, serving as the strategic partner to major TPO providers and financing entities. Reporting to the Director of Business Product, you will drive the product strategy for our current partnerships while simultaneously identifying and building for future expansion into new business models, including direct-to-customer offerings and adjacent residential markets.

This is a high-impact role that requires a balance of strategic vision, technical depth, and a relentless focus on solving core customer problems. We are looking for a product leader who thinks in systems and scale rather than just features.

What You'll Do

At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. How you create an impact is ultimately up to you. Here is an outline of some of the things you'll be doing:

  • TPO Product Leadership: Own the product roadmap and execution for our TPO business line, ensuring our technology + service offering provides maximum value to TPO providers and financing partners.
  • Market Expansion: Research, validate, and build the product foundation for new residential business models, such as direct-to-customer offerings, to diversify our market presence.
  • Adjacent Market Discovery: Identify and evaluate opportunities in adjacent residential energy markets to drive long-term growth and platform stickiness.
  • Pricing Strategy: Work with Finance & Revenue Operations to develop and implement sophisticated pricing models and financial structures to optimize.
  • Problem-Centric Leadership: Apply deep product thinking to identify core business and partner friction points. Design solutions that balance immediate urgency with long-term scalability, focusing on the underlying problem rather than micromanaging the solution.
  • Ecosystem Integration: Understand homeowners, installers, and capital markets needs as they are all critical stakeholders who will help us to drive overall success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Operations to ensure product alignment and successful execution.

Who You Are

  • First Principles Thinking: You don't just accept "how things are done." You dig into the core problems and build solutions from the ground up for scale.
  • Strategic Urgency: You move fast because the market demands it, but you build with the structural integrity needed for long-term reliability and platform growth.
  • Ownership Mindset: You take full accountability for your product area, from high-level strategy to the granular details of execution.
  • Collaborative Influencer: Ability to lead through influence, building strong bridges between technical teams and commercial partners.
  • Effective Communicator: You can translate complex technical or financial concepts into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership and external partners.
  • Product Visionary: You can look beyond the current roadmap to see where the residential energy market is heading and position us to lead.

Experience You'll Need

  • 5-8+ years of product management experience, specifically within a high-growth technology or renewable energy environment.
  • Deep expertise in the residential solar and/or energy storage industry.
  • Direct experience in product pricing strategy and revenue management, with the ability to build and iterate on complex financial models.
  • Demonstrated track record of taking products from concept to scale, particularly in B2B or partner-led environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive product decisions and measure success in complex ecosystems.

Experience That's a Plus

  • Significant experience working directly with Third-Party Owners (TPOs) and large-scale solar financing entities.
  • Experience launching or scaling direct-to-consumer (D2C) products in a regulated or complex industry.
  • Familiarity with the software platforms used by major financing providers in the solar space.
  • AI-native development and experience prototyping and building AI agents in tools like Replit and Claude Cowork.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or technical MS) is preferred but not required.

Work-Life & Culture

  • Most of our roles offer the opportunity to work remotely.
  • If you are in the Seattle area, we offer a vibrant office space in the historic and beautiful Smith Tower, in the heart of Pioneer Square.
  • We prioritize applicants near one of our employee clusters and offer one or more local gatherings per year.
  • We provide outstanding benefits including family medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) administration and $1k match per year and thoughtful paid time off.
  • We offer 12 weeks of paid parental leave to all FTE employees (birthing and non-birthing) after 1 year, and four-week paid sabbatical leave after four years.
  • We offer a competitive total compensation package that includes monthly health insurance premiums, bonuses and long-term stock options for every employee.
  • We love to lift each other up through company-wide slack channels such as #puppiesandpets, #omnidian-wellness, #praiseandbooms and #sustainablefuture.
  • We have affinity groups to help employees feel seen and supported, such as Rainbow Array, Black Lights Matter, Neurospicy R Us, Puente and more.
  • We are a passionate, mission driven team that believes in collaboration, mutual respect and trust. For examples, come Discover our Story!
