Job Description
At E.ON Infrastructure Solutions, our Flexibility Solutions team works closely with our district heating business and production sites to develop solutions that make the energy system smarter, more sustainable, and more efficient. By combining technology, business development, and innovation, we create both commercial flexibility offerings for business customers and solutions that optimize E.ON's own energy assets.
We are currently in an exciting phase where flexibility is becoming an increasingly important part of the future energy system. That's why we are looking for a Project Manager who wants to contribute to one of our most exciting initiatives in this area - creating new value by connecting and optimizing E.ON's own energy assets for participation in flexibility markets.
Your role
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in maximizing the value of E.ON's energy assets by developing and optimizing our internal flexibility solutions. By enabling our energy assets to participate in flexibility markets, you will contribute to both business value creation and the development of a more flexible and sustainable energy system.
As program lead for Flexibility Asset Optimization, you will act as the connecting link between different specialist functions and stakeholders, working closely with colleagues across production, energy markets, digitalization, and business development. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and offers the opportunity to drive development within a field that is becoming increasingly important to the future of energy.
In this role, you will:
- Drive and further develop flexibility initiatives connected to E.ON's internal energy assets
- Lead the Flexibility Asset Optimization program and ensure progress, structure, and delivery
- Coordinate activities and stakeholders across different functions
- Identify and realize new opportunities to create value through flexibility markets
- Contribute to the development of future ways of working, processes, and solutions within the flexibility area
Your experiences
We believe you bring several years of experience leading complex projects, programs, or business development initiatives within the energy sector. Your background may come from areas such as energy markets, district heating, electricity networks, or other parts of the energy industry. Experience with flexibility markets, flexibility solutions, or related energy optimization initiatives is considered a strong advantage.
As a person, you are curious, collaborative, and enjoy bringing people together around a common goal. You build strong relationships, create trust, and naturally navigate across different functions and stakeholders. With a structured approach and the ability to balance both the bigger picture and the details, you thrive in complex environments where collaboration and problem-solving are key. Most importantly, you are motivated by developing new solutions, creating real value, and helping shape the future energy system.
What is it like to work with us?
Your future manager, Harald, believes in an open and inclusive leadership style where collaboration, development, and job satisfaction are at the heart of how we work. You will be given a high level of trust and responsibility, while also having the support of an engaged team with extensive experience from across the energy industry. We are a team of 11 colleagues who value an open atmosphere and active dialogue. Together, we continuously develop our business, explore new ideas, and make sure to have fun along the way.
We look forward to receiving your application and hope you will join us on our journey towards a more sustainable future. The application deadline is 22/6.
