Responsibilities
The Senior Financial Asset Manager will play a key role in managing and optimizing the financial performance of our operating power plant portfolio. This includes leading budgeting and forecasting activities, monitoring revenue and cost performance, and overseeing the financial management of assets held within SPVs. The role will partner closely with the investment and project development teams and coordinate with legal counsel on contractual and SPV-related matters.
- Oversee the financial performance of operating power plant assets, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial monitoring.
- Manage the financial planning and performance of assets held within SPVs, including revenue and cost forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow oversight.
- Work closely with the investment and project development teams to support asset performance, strategic decision-making, and value creation.
- Liaise with legal counsel on SPV-related matters, contractual issues, and key asset documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and support regular and ad hoc investor reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in asset management
- Prior asset management experience within a financial institution is mandatory
- Experience in infrastructure asset management is highly desirable
- Experience in renewable energy, power assets, or project finance is strongly preferred
- Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring skills
- Business-level English proficiency, both written and verbal
- Professional proficiency in Korean is required
