Job Description

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager for a complete Hitachi Energy portfolio. This position will be based in Kolkata.

How you'll make an impact

  • You will be responsible for the Sales Target of complete Hitachi Energy portfolio business in West Bengal, Bihar & Jharkhand.
  • Developing and maintaining customer relations with all important accounts of the Territory.
  • Business Development with technical specs in activities
  • Promote & position complete Hitachi Energy present and forthcoming complete Portfolio in various segments like Industries, Utilities, EPCs, Distributors, OEM, & New Channels.
  • Developing, Placing, Guiding and Supporting Channel Partners and appointing new CPs in white spots of region
  • Monitor Order Execution and support project handling team to execute the order.
  • Receivable Management including Payment Collection as per forecast.
  • MIS & using necessary tools like SFDC, SAP on regular basis maintaining good Data quality.
  • Attending and resolution of customer complaints promptly.
  • Safety, Quality and Integrity to be followed strictly.
  • Participate in and organize customer events like tech seminars, presentations, exhibitions etc.

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Should have bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Must have 12-16 years' experience in relevant fields.
  • Previous experience in MV, HV Switchgears, Grid Automation will be preferred.
  • Candidate should have flair for Sales & Marketing including Account management.
  • To be successful in this role you should have good communication skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Preferably, should have a proven track record of managing and facilitating change.
  • Role requires travelling and meeting customers.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required and local language in speaking and writing.
