As our new Service Technician/Engineer in the Renewable division, you will be a valuable member of the Medium and High Voltage Service team, whose mission is to execute Medium and High Voltage Service projects across disciplines for offshore assets e.g. OSS, Rig and WTG. You will have the chance to both join exciting Service campaigns but also potentially drive all aspects of the project process - from initial client inquiries to final execution. Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Service Technician or Service Engineer you will have a variety of hands-on service and maintenance tasks on OSS & Rig and Wind Turbines combined with Technical clarification, documentation and planning the execution.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of Offshore Substations (OSS) and wind turbines (WTG)
- Service tasks on switchgears and transformers
- Test of protection devices such as relay, circuit brakers etc.
- Maintenance Rig (Electrical SPS)
- Hands-on Offshore for Special Technical Testing and Trouble shooting.
- Coordinate and plan work packages for execution, both on- and offshore.
- Maintaining communication with clients and addressing their inquiries and concerns during initiation and execution of projects.
Your profile & qualifications
You could come with an Engineering degree and would like to combine it with hands-on offshore work or maybe you have a background as and HV Technician/Authorized Person and desire to develop and build on top with preparation of RAMS and Technical Planning. You are driven by completing tasks to the best of your ability and remain in control even in fast-paced situations. You have a safety focused mindset and never compromise when it comes to safety on the job. Additionally, you are service-minded and greatly enjoy collaborating with your colleagues.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- An educational background as an Electrician and have been working as High Voltage Technician for minimum 3 year or come with an Engineering background with the desire to work offshore
- High Voltage and GWO training certificates (you should be able to upload your certificates unlimited) or in depth knowledge on electrical systems and willing to train for obtaining them (if you are applying with an Engineering background)
- Fluently in English
- Work permits to working in the EU
- Documented switching experience on High voltage equipment is advantageous
