Job Description
To support the continuous development and harmonisation of our HSE practices across the Group, we are looking for a Group HSE Expert who will contribute to strengthening a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with Group standards and legal obligations.
Your tasks
- You support the Head of Group HSE in defining, implementing and monitoring the Group Health, Safety & Environmental strategy and ensuring alignment across all subsidiaries, including the consolidation and analysis of HSE KPIs and the reporting on HSE performance.
- You contribute to the life-cycle (development, structuration, implementation, deployment, review, regulatory watch and continuous improvement) of Group HSE policies, standards and management systems, including related training and communication initiatives across the Group.
- You support internal departments and subsidiaries (HR, REFM, operational entities, etc.) in ensuring compliance with legal HSE obligations and Group standards while acting as "Salarié désigné Grade C" (or equivalent) for subsidiaries under responsibility.
- You support subsidiaries in HSE risk identification, assessment and mitigation. This includes, but is not restricted to, the mapping of high-risk positions and environmental risks, the follow-up of preventive and corrective action plans and the development and implementation of emergency response plans (health emergency, fire safety, environmental incidents, etc.).
- You conduct QHSE audits and support subsidiaries in achieving and maintaining QHSE certifications (e.g. ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and contribute to audit readiness.
- You promote and foster a strong safety culture aligned with the Group's Vision Zero objectives.
Your profile
- You hold a master's degree in engineering or a related field, as well as a certification as "Salarié désigné" Grade C (or equivalent recognised qualification within the EU).
- You have a minimum of 2 years' professional experience in a similar role.
- You demonstrate strong experience in implementing and maintaining QHSE management systems and standards (e.g. ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. A good knowledge of French and/or German will be considered as an advantage.
