Job Description

Ameresco currently has a new opportunity for a site-based Project Coordinator in Edmonton, AB at a Federal Government project site(s).
Job Responsibilities
- Work with project managers to ensure project scope is being delivered on schedule, and as per design intent and conformity.
- Identify and solicit contractors and vendors to deliver project scope.
- Coordinate tender document preparation and approvals.
- Provide construction progress status updates and recommendations to mitigate risk to concerns or questions regarding project deliverables.
- Support construction management through supervision and inspection of subcontractors to ensure quality control and to ensure the timely completion of deliverables within budget. Attend start up meetings, construction meetings, commissioning and project close-out meetings.
- Analyze and reconcile project costs against construction schedules and purchase orders. Lead project close-out documentation process and requirements.
- Manage electronic documents on company server and file sharing sites; and,
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Construction management, project management, or business administration diplomas or degrees.
- Minimum of 4 Years Experience in Construction Project Coordination
- Required to obtain Federal Reliability Status security clearance as a condition of employment.
- Current and valid drivers' license to operate a motor vehicle unsupervised.
Additional Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Project.
- Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a regionalized team
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities
- Fundamental understanding of budgeting, cost control, scheduling and billing procedures Provide deliverables with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy
- Any training related to safety, quality and environmental programs such as ISO.
- Ability to travel is an asset.
- A background or interest in energy analysis, M&V is an asset
- Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information.
