Job Description

As Senior Manager in our EMEA Accounting, Controlling and Compliance Team for CIP Fund solutions, you will become part of the developing and growing Finance team. The team is responsible for the financial deliverables of 350+ investment vehicles across the CIP Funds, including monthly and quarterly reporting, audit management, tax compliance and other key financial activities. The team currently consists of 10 professionals based in Copenhagen, Spain and the UK.

Role

Reporting to the Head of Accounting, Controlling and Compliance for EMEA, you will be responsible for a team of Financial Controllers, tasked with establishing and delivering best-in-class finance processes for our investment vehicles. You will also work closely with the CIP Investment teams on a range of M&A deals.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to

  • Managing and developing a team of Financial Controllers,
  • Ensuring timely and accurate submission of all financial deliverables,
  • Support on M&A deals,
  • Onboard new projects ensuring smooth handover from previous service providers and timely set up of ERP systems, bank account and onboarding of new Service Providers
  • Drive process improvements to deliver transparent and efficient processes

You

We are looking for a motivated individual with a minimum of 8 years of experience in financial controlling or financial management environment, with strong M&A experience and at least 2 years of previous people management experience.

  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work well with others,
  • Solid financial acumen with ability to translate complex matters into clear messages,
  • High ability to prioritize assignments and ensure short deadlines,
  • Motivated by building best practices and growing the finance function,
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and writing and have great communication skills.
