YOUR MISSIONS
The Health & Safety and Environment Coordinator is responsible to support the EPC HSE Global Manager for promoting and ensuring the health and safety of Renvolt workers and subcontractors in Spain & Portugal sites, the compliance with the environmental requirements and the continuous improvement processes to satisfy stakeholders and ensuring legal compliance.
Main responsibilities
- Ability to plan and organize teams and activities
- Accountable for the planning and control of HSE activities related to EPC portfolio.
- Contractor's document control
- Ability to prepare and update HSE statistical tracking and trending data.
- Control and monitoring of HSE in EPC sites
- Supervise the management of records and other documentation related to HSE audits, inspections, reports, certifications, permits, etc;
- Periodic safety inspections in the field.
- Management and investigation of accidents and incidents (reporting to EPC HSE Global Manager).
- Coordination with HSES Management & the External Prevention Service and Mutual Accident Insurance Company.
- Elaboration, revision and modification of work procedures and instructions
- Promote prevention and awareness of subcontractors, and Voltalia EPC team related to the site's activities.
Other administrative tasks related to the position.
- Ability to prepare and update HSE statistical tracking and trending data;
- Be aware of all relevant HSE laws, codes of practice and standards for the area.Gives assistance to the EPC HSE Global Manager with clients' HSE requirements and assists in compliance.Assists in implementing and maintaining the IMS (Integrated Management System: Iso 14001 Iso 9001 and Iso 45001)
- Assists with developing HSE Plans that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as local client requirements in case of EPC to third parties, Environmental Plans and Emergency Plans.
- Assists with the development and implementation of appropriate location emergency response systems.
- Responsible for providing EPC HSE Global Manager with feedback on HSE performance.
- Conducts HSE presentations and training to employees as required.
- Conduct HSE audits and inspections to EPC sites.
- Assists work site personnel and line management in the development of work site HSE promotions and campaigns
- Participating in the meetings with the Projects HSE Team
- Support to define the HSE materials (PPE's) for the activities according to risk assessment
- Support the implementation in the local organization of the HSE Policies, Procedures and HSE documentary organization defined by Voltalia Group
- Ensure the local Health & Safety and Environment legal compliance
- Monitoring of rules and other national and international applicable normative documents
- Participation in the Risk Assessment analysis for all the activities, development of HSE Plans Preventive Instructions, Method Statements, Checklists and other specific local HSE documentation
- Monitoring the implementation of training of workers and subcontractors of Renvolt in the HSE Plans, Emergency Plans, Procedures, Inductions, Toolbox Tools, Emergency Drills and Awareness actions
- Conducting HSE monitoring of the site, safety inspections and audits for Health, Safety & Environment matters in all Renvolt Spain & Portugal construction sites
- Reporting Health, Safety & Environment KPI??s in a monthly basis.
- Reporting immediately any incident, developing further required investigations (if needed)
- Renvolt representation towards official agencies in case of accident (environmental or safety)
- Participation in HSE meetings, internal and external with Subcontractors, Suppliers and Clients (if needed)
- Search for continuous improvement through audits and monitoring of internal processes, ensuring the implementation and effectiveness of the action plans (corrective and preventive actions)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- University degree in related areas like Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial)
- Master's degree in health and safety (occupational safety is a must) all 3 specialties will be a plus. Health and Safety Coordinator title (Art. 8 & 9, RD 1627/1997) will be a plus
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field of EHS on construction or industrial environment (self-consumption photovoltaic systems).
- Knowledge of implementation and control of HSE systems in sites under RD 1627/1997 regulations
- Knowledge of Environmental control systems will be a plus.
- Possessing knowledge of ISO 45001, OSHAS 18001 and IS0 14001 will be a plus.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Have knowledge of safety at work legislation. We will also value it on the environmental part.
- CAE Platforms (Coordination of business activities), e-Gestiona will be a plus.
- Driving license
