Join us as a Product Owner (f/m/d) in Grid Digitalization, where your expertise in power systems, grid operations, and digital technologies will be pivotal in driving your agile team towards success. Imagine leading a dynamic team, where you are responsible for creating and managing the team backlog, ensuring that it aligns with customer value and project goals. You will build transparency and trust within your team by clarifying priorities, dependencies, and risks, while effectively communicating with Product Management, R&D, and customer-facing teams to keep everyone informed and engaged. Your role is not just about managing tasks; it's about fostering collaboration and innovation in a fast-paced environment.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, System Architects, grid experts, and stakeholders to align the team backlog with the product vision and roadmap.
  • Transfer the prioritized overall backlog into the team backlog, ensuring alignment of content, priorities, and realization methods with the development team.
  • Guide story creation, define acceptance criteria, and accept completed user stories in line with the product strategy.
  • Plan product progression in accordance with development capacity, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Support the planning and control of project budgets and timelines to optimize resource allocation.
  • Steer external suppliers and developers efficiently, contributing to continuous improvement within the given environment.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Software Systems, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Owner in energy, utilities, or industrial digitalization, showcasing strong systems thinking.
  • A solid understanding of power systems and grid operations (TSO/DSO), along with working knowledge of grid digitalization technologies, smart grids, industrial communications, data platforms, cloud/on-prem architectures, and interoperability standards (e.g., CIM, IEC 61850).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear and actionable requirements.
  • The ability to balance business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder needs while ensuring transparency of all relevant conditions, requirements, and changes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with confidence in engaging cross-functional teams, end users, engineers, and business stakeholders.
