As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Business Support team as they implement our new D365 System with a Product Owner - ERP & CRM at our Glasgow or Stirling office.
Purpose of Role
To be the credible voice of the business, voice of the customer, backlog owner, and strategic priority owner and facilitator for the CRM & ERP product development. To steer & prioritise product development through focus on internal customer & organisational value, and to be the respected and valued servant leader to BPOs and Change Champions. The outcomes of this role are: happy, engaged and informed stakeholders - supplier and internal Scrums informed and directed by business value - business value aligned backlog with clear, understood stories & acceptance criteria - and the delivery of customer and business benefits through well-used working software.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Creation, socialisation, agreement and management of the Product Roadmap for D365 ERP/CRM, as per the above, in collaboration with the ERP Project Manager
- Communication of the Product Roadmap to supplier PM and FC, ensuring that it is appropriately costed, timed and delivery is agreed.
- Creation, prioritisation, socialisation and management (in collaboration with the Project Manager and business stakeholders) of the Product & Feature Backlog
- Development of stakeholder-agreed prioritization criteria for development, and the collaborative application of these to the Product & Feature Backlog
- Creation, in close collaboration with the Project Manager, of financial forecasts for the ERP & CRM Product, and for the business and change projects running alongside this.
- Setting up & running performance management of the CRM & ERP product (and associated products such as eMarketing, analytics, etc.) including creation of Product and Customer Outcome KPIs
- Management of stakeholders, especially including agreement of product backlog, definition of minimum viable products, and agreement of changes during the project
- Managing strategic stakeholders through the changes in business practice, structure and governance needed for better customer engagement and use of ERP & CRM
- Working with business analysts to form and break-down user stories, and organising & leading Backlog Grooming sessions to work with the Project Managers, Solution Architect & Functional Consultants on the appropriate translation of business user stories into technical requirements
- Release planning (in close collaboration with the Supplier Project Manager & IT Colleagues), and communication of release plans to appropriate business stakeholders
- Attending Agile Ceremonies, and being seen as a respectful and willing servant leader of the development team alongside the Scrum Masters
- Ownership of the quality of the product for end-users, and of quality / UA testing with users - as well as owning user feedback, escalation of user concern, and resolution / feedback to users of these concerns (in close collaboration with the Head of CRM Transformation)
This is a 6 Months Fix Term Contract, Full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday .
