As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Business Support team as they implement our new D365 System with a Service Designer - ERP & CRM at our Glasgow or Stirling office.

Purpose of Role

To own the design of new processes, procedures, and business mapping for the major change projects / business change initiatives as part of the ERP Project in Natural Power. Bringing stakeholders and Business Process Owners together, demonstrating best-practice from across the market (and in line with standard OOB functionality and roles in D365) to those BPOs, and working with the business to create net-new processes in key change areas. Packaging these are swim-laned service designs for the ERP, with clear notation as to how D365 ERP / CRM fits into these processes, as well as other key business tools (eMarketing, HR, Sharepoint DM, etc.)

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Creation, socialisation, agreement and management of to-be processes and ways of working in key areas of change selected by the ERP/CRM Business Process Owners (BPOs)
  • Lead the iterative design of user-centred services in the NP business, adapting these to fit out of the box D365 configurations
  • Incorporate user feedback, data, and outside system requirements / constraints into the design of services.
  • Utilise both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed design decisions, ensuring services meet the needs of users and align with departmental objectives
  • Support architects and functional consultants in the handover of service design concepts into the technical design / architecture workstream
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, providing leadership and guidance on translating business ambitions into effective service designs
  • Ability to communicate complex design concepts to stakeholders at all levels, using storytelling, evidence, and design artefacts to influence decision-making and direction
  • Negotiate and guide on service design issues, conflicts, and business change associated with new processes and ways of working
  • Canonical documentation of service design artefacts, processes, roles and responsibilities, and new ways of working.
  • Ensure services are accessible and inclusive, designed to meet the diverse needs of all users, and comply with Natural Power standards on accessibility and inclusivity

This is a 6 Months Fix Term Contract, Full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
