As a Digital Delivery Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in one of AGL's most significant transformation programs, leading the delivery of the digital workstream within our Retail Transformation. Reporting to the Head of Technology - Transformation Delivery, you'll work closely with strategic delivery partners, vendors and internal technology teams to shape and deliver AGL's future digital customer experience.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll combine delivery excellence, technical leadership and stakeholder influence to ensure robust, scalable and future-ready digital solutions are delivered at pace. You'll help drive digital innovation while ensuring lessons from the past are incorporated into the future, setting AGL up for long-term success and competitive advantage.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the digital workstream within AGL's Retail Transformation program.
- Provide oversight and accountability for vendor and service integrator delivery outcomes, including scope, timelines, testing and release management.
- Manage delivery teams, resource planning, reporting, risks, issues and partner relationships.
- Drive critical inter-stream dependency management across complex transformation initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and digital subject matter expertise to influence solution design and business strategy.
- Partner with Product, Transformation and Technology teams to ensure future digital experiences meet customer and business needs.
- Lead transition planning and readiness activities to ensure solutions are fully operable, supportable and ready for AGL ownership.
- Drive capability uplift across internal teams, supporting the transition from vendor-led delivery to a sustainable hybrid delivery model.
- Oversee Digital BAU ecosystem dependencies and prioritisation to ensure successful program outcomes.
- Manage vendor commercial agreements, software licensing and budgets of up to $10 million.
What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience leading large-scale digital transformation, technology delivery, and customer-facing product initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
- Proven success delivering large-scale systems integration programs involving multiple technologies, platforms, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, software delivery lifecycles, modern architecture patterns, API-led integration, and digital ecosystem delivery.
- Demonstrated experience delivering customer-facing digital solutions across web, mobile, CRM, and self-service channels.
- Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams, applying agile delivery practices, and driving outcomes across Product, Technology, Architecture, Security, Design, Operations, and Business functions.
- Strong vendor, partner, and service integrator management experience, including commercial oversight, governance, performance management, and delivery assurance.
- Broad understanding of cross-platform solution design and modern technology architectures, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within or alongside the Salesforce ecosystem, including customer acquisition, sales, service, and customer engagement capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budget management, financial forecasting, business case delivery, and vendor governance.
- Experience leading teams through organisational and technology transformation, building delivery capability and supporting future-state operating models.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery execution, managing both long-term outcomes and day-to-day delivery priorities.
