Are you an experienced and motivated OT Security Architect and do you want to leave your mark on the global energy industry? If so, we want to hear from you!
In your new position as OT Security Architect in the Renewables division, you will be a valuable member of the OT Security Team, whose mission is to ensure excellent OT security deliveries in large-scale EPC substation projects. You will have the chance to take the architectural lead and help shape a collaborative team culture built on expertise and knowledge-sharing. Above all, your work will make a real difference to the global energy sector.
Your place of work will be at one of our offices in either Esbjerg or Copenhagen. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 10-30 days per year.
"Every day, we help enable the green energy transition by building secure, resilient OT solutions that ensure renewable energy assets operate safely and reliably." - Senior Team Leader, OT Security, Reza Sarafrazjoo.
Your tasks & responsibilities
In our Renewables division, we have major EPC projects in the pipeline for both short- and long-term operations. As an OT Security Architect, you will take the architectural lead and support all OT Security areas across the EPC substation projects.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Contributing to the implementation of industry-accepted good practice and required Cyber/OT Security architecture at solution level, typically based on standards such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and NIS
- Helping define products and standards relevant to OT Security and infrastructure
- Reviewing requirements/ITT packages and providing input to tenders consisting of calculations, solutions, descriptions, clarifications, and reservations
- Taking on an advisory or active role in infrastructure, identity access management, or logging/event-based activities
- Being responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing FAT, SAT, and SIT activities to ensure successful system delivery and integration
- Implementing customer-specific Cyber/OT Security requirements in substation design for multiple systems and subsystems, such as SCADA, low-voltage, HVAC, Auxiliary Control and Monitoring System, etc.
Crucial to this position is your ability to take ownership of project deliverables and coordinate OT Security deadlines with internal and external stakeholders. You should thrive in a leading role where your skills, collaboration, and structured approach help ensure that requirements are met.
Your profile & qualifications
You are a team player who enjoys leading projects and working with stakeholders to align on timing, scope, and objectives. You know when technical expertise should be brought in to support delivery. To us, this means that you have a structured and solution-oriented approach, the ability to influence stakeholders, and the dedication to see tasks through to completion.
You will be part of a team of six colleagues that values quality, attention to detail, and a flexible working environment. We are sociable, helpful, and open to input, and we work in a dedicated, structured, and execution-focused way while respecting the agility that is a natural part of our core tasks. We want the same from you.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in OT Security from a similar position
- A Tech Lead mentality - we are not seeking an extreme subject matter expert, but a well-rounded colleague who can work through heavily structured large projects involving many stakeholders
- The ability to know when additional technical specialists or resources are needed to complete a project
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Experience working in complex engineering projects, as well as project and stakeholder management, is an advantage
