About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Trainee Lawyer to join our Legal Team in Athens, Greece. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer and working closely with in-house counsel, the successful candidate will support a broad range of corporate, commercial, and governance matters across multiple jurisdictions. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to develop practical experience in an international technology company operating in the renewable energy sector.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assisting in providing legal services and practical advice on corporate and business law matters.
- Supporting the review, analysis, and administration of commercial international contracts, including:
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Master Services Agreements (MSAs) / Framework Agreements
- Supply Agreements
- Maintenance Agreements
- Software License Agreements
- Other commercial and operational contracts
- Assisting with corporate governance and corporate housekeeping matters, including the preparation and maintenance of corporate records.
- Drafting and coordinating Board of Directors and Shareholders' / General Assembly resolutions, minutes, and related documentation.
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda, summaries, and internal guidance materials.
- Supporting legal projects and helping manage multiple legal matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Organizing legal documentation and maintaining contract and corporate records.
- Attending client meetings, internal meetings, and conference calls and preparing detailed meeting notes and action items.
- Assisting with cross-border legal, compliance, and administrative matters as required.
- Supporting the Legal Team with process improvement initiatives, knowledge management, and special projects.
What You Will Need to Be Successful
- Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 months' relevant experience gained in either a law firm or an in-house legal environment
- Familiarity with corporate law concepts and corporate governance documentation.
- Exposure to commercial contracts and contract administration.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Professional, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting an international technology, SaaS, energy, or renewable energy company.
- Experience with multinational corporate entities and cross-border legal matters.
- Familiarity with legal operations, contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, or AI-enabled legal tools.
