Job Description

Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to work at the forefront of the global energy transition? PEAK Wind is seeking a Data Engineer to support our Data & Intelligence team in building data pipelines for an ever-larger data flow from various wind farms and solar projects.

The position is located in Copenhagen.

You will become part of our D&I team, where we work within PEAK Wind's operations management service offering and manage full value chain data management for our clients. We support renewable energy assets worldwide through data management, reporting solutions, and analytics capabilities, helping deliver data-driven solutions that support our clients and renewable energy projects.

You will report to the Head of Data & Intelligence and work closely with Data Engineers, Asset Managers, and other stakeholders across the business, bringing your analytical expertise and visualisation skills to a collaborative and purpose-driven team environment.

How You Will Make an Impact

As a Performance Analyst, you will contribute to the success of our clients and renewable energy projects by transforming operational wind asset data into meaningful insights that support performance optimisation, operational decision-making, and asset value creation.

You will sit at the intersection of performance analytics and data visualisation, combining a strong understanding of wind asset performance with the ability to communicate complex findings through intuitive dashboards and reporting solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse operational data from onshore and offshore wind assets to identify performance trends, anomalies, and drivers of underperformance
  • Lead and manage analyses supporting performance optimisation, diagnostics, and performance reporting for Asset Management teams and clients
  • Collect, manage, and verify operational data to ensure accuracy, quality, and availability for performance evaluation
  • Design, develop, and maintain frontend dashboards and visualisations, primarily in Power BI, that present performance and underperformance insights in a clear and user-friendly manner
  • Collaborate closely with Data Engineers and backend developers to ensure reliable data flows support analytical and reporting solutions
  • Translate complex operational datasets into intuitive visuals and dashboards that clearly communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure usability, performance, and visual consistency across dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Provide input on frontend architecture, tooling, and technology choices related to visualisation and reporting platforms
  • Implement enhancements to dashboards and analyses based on user feedback and evolving business requirements
  • Maintain clear documentation of analyses, dashboards, and methodologies to support transparency and knowledge sharing
  • Stay informed on wind industry performance benchmarks, underperformance drivers, and analytical best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of PEAK Wind's data landscape

    • Strong experience with Power BI; experience with Tableau, Alteryx, or similar tools is an advantage
