Job Description

Every blade tells a story. Someone needs to keep that story moving.

A damaged leading edge. A repair campaign across multiple turbines. A team of blade technicians working hundreds of meters above the ground. A customer waiting for updates. A project that needs to stay on schedule, on budget, and on quality.

This is where you come in.

At FairWind, we're looking for a Service Coordinator - Blades to join our dedicated Blade Services team and help coordinate blade inspection, repair, maintenance, and upgrade projects across Europe.

You won't just be coordinating tasks.

You'll be connecting technicians, customers, Project Managers, logistics, and operational teams to ensure our blade projects run safely, efficiently, and professionally from start to finish.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys being at the heart of operations and who understands that successful blade projects rely on planning, communication, and strong coordination.

You will likely succeed in this role if you:

  • Have experience in project coordination, service coordination, operations, or a similar role
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly
  • Are highly organized and structured
  • Communicate confidently with customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders
  • Take ownership and naturally follow things through to completion
  • Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Speak and write English confidently (minimum B2)
  • Are comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools and project-related systems

Experience from the wind industry, blade services, industrial services, construction, or field operations will be considered a strong advantage.

Your Role

As a Blade Coordinator, you will support the execution of blade-related service projects and act as a key link between the field and the office.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating blade repair and maintenance projects throughout their lifecycle
  • Supporting project planning, resource allocation, and budgeting activities
  • Organizing technicians, equipment, travel arrangements, accommodation, and site logistics
  • Maintaining close communication with customers and providing timely project updates
  • Supporting Project Managers in monitoring budgets, project progress, and contractual requirements
  • Ensuring project documentation is accurate and delivered on time
  • Acting as a coordination point for Blade Technicians, Team Leads, Project Managers, and supporting departments
  • Helping resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively
  • Supporting compliance with FairWind's HSE, Quality, and operational standards
  • Participating in project evaluations, lessons learned sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives

What we offer

Because every successful blade project starts long before technicians arrive on site.

Our Blade Services team works on challenging projects across the wind industry, supporting turbine owners and operators in keeping their assets performing at their best.

At FairWind, you'll join a team that values:

  • Responsibility over hierarchy
  • Teamwork over silos
  • Solutions over obstacles
  • Continuous improvement over "the way we've always done it"

You'll have the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues, support international projects, and play a key role in delivering high-quality blade services across Europe.

Help us keep the blades turning.

Apply today and become part of FairWind's Blade Services team.
