The Opportunity

We are looking for a Paralegal to join the Legal team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will work closely with the wider Legal team to support a broad range of commercial, corporate and financing transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to gain exposure to a broad range of legal work while supporting a growing and dynamic business.

A Taste of the Day to Day

As part of a small and collaborative Legal team, you will assist across a broad range of legal matters, including:

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating non-disclosure agreements.
  • Supporting the review, drafting and administration of commercial agreements.
  • Managing contract execution processes, including DocuSign administration and completion formalities.
  • Maintaining the legal contract repository and supporting contract lifecycle management.
  • Supporting the incorporation, corporate filings and ongoing administration of group companies.
  • Assisting with KYC, AML and corporate due diligence requests.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing briefing notes.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of legal templates and standard documentation.
  • Assisting with legal operations projects, including the use of legal technology and AI tools.
  • Supporting the day-to-day administration and operation of the Legal team, together with providing general legal and administrative support as required.

Essential Experience

  • Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, ideally within an in-house legal team or commercial law firm.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, collaborative and willing to take ownership of work.

Desirable Experience

  • Completion of the LPC or SQE (or equivalent legal qualification) would be advantageous.
  • Experience reviewing commercial contracts, particularly NDAs and other routine agreements.
  • An interest in the energy, infrastructure or project finance sectors.
