The Senior Cloud Operations Analyst will provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to the SaaS Service Analysts in addition to providing leadership in the absence of the Manager. The Senior Cloud Operations Analyst role is responsible for overseeing the health and stability of the hosted SaaS environment from an L+G proprietary application perspective. Collaborating with Product Support, Sustaining/Engineering and infrastructure architecture teams on troubleshooting, specifications, sizing, and process, the Cloud Services Analyst Lead possesses in-depth knowledge of how Microsoft Windows, SQL/Oracle DB Servers, Networking, and the relevant applications work together. This role will work to maintain version and patch levels, support the installation/patch tool, and otherwise manage the hosted environment as it pertains to production readiness and stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for application upgrades, installations, and maintaining patch levels of SaaS customers.

  • Key stakeholder in environment related issues such as CPU spikes and failed installations/upgrades.

  • Automation Tool & Service validation script/tool owner. Responsible for enhancements and upkeep.

  • Represent the hosted environment from an application perspective and participate in meetings that involve the future of CC/MDMS/AGA (and other software applications that L+G has like GSIS, DA Gateway, etc) to ensure the Hosted Environment is prepared well in advance.

  • Act as a Liaison between L3, Product Support & Architecture in this regard.

  • Drive environment testing from an application perspective.

  • A SME from an application perspective in designing the future of the Hosted Environment.

  • Consulted as environment/system SME during Incident Management.

  • Relied on to be a SME for monitoring alerts, thresholds, and templates (monitoring template ownership) as it relates to the application.

  • Analyzing performance of Infrastructure and L+G product offering.

  • Track and trend system performance metrics.

  • Manage the application uninstall/retirement process.

  • Advise on application log management, data archiving, table partitioning, data warehouse management and retention standards.

  • Application configuration SME.

  • Assist with CMDB upkeep, certificate management, and ETL data exchange processes for customers with multiple products hosted at the NOC.

  • Hosted Customer portals and dashboard pages/tools oversight.

  • SBS and advanced security knowledge from a system/environment perspective

  • Knowledge management

  • Resource constraints each version and new version of CC has on the infrastructure.

  • What new requirements the CC software has, what customers are bringing back for data, etc.

  • CC related Windows Operating System knowledge and which things are needed to make the CC work.

  • Knowledge of how Microsoft Windows, SQL/Oracle DB Servers, Networking, and the CC application all tie together and the entire spectrum of how each process works.

  • Coach & Train Cloud Service Analysts.

  • Act as leader in place of the Manager.

  • Provide technical direction for the SaaS environment to account for growth and changing application requirements.

Pay is in the range of $76,400-$92,000 per year.
