The Administration Officer plays a vital role in providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the local leadership team. This position is essential for maintaining efficient workflows, supporting financial processes, and ensuring effective coordination across team activities. We are looking for a proactive, organised individual who takes ownership of their work, communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders, and has a keen eye for attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Provide a full range of administrative duties, including document preparation, filing, and coordination of meetings, agendas, and minutes.
  • Financial Coordination: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Manage purchasing processes, including purchase orders, receipts, and invoice reconciliation.
  • System Maintenance: Utilise business systems (e.g. LMS, Maintenance, Purchasing/Finance) to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting.
  • Team Support: Support the local leadership team in facilitating team activities and implementing engagement plans.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and ensuring seamless information flow.

About the location

This position is a full time, 100% on site role based at Laverton Power Station and involves travel to other sites as required.

About you

The successful candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role and ideally have a TAFE certificate in administration or secretarial studies.
