Job Description
Make your mark as a Senior HR Advisor (Part-time) for Boskalis Subsea Services located in Aberdeen. The Senior HR Advisor (Part-time) is an integral part of the Subsea Services HR Team, providing proactive HR support, guidance and advice to both Line Managers and Employees within a designated area of the business. You will Support & Lead the successful delivery of the Business and HR objectives through providing a generalist HR service, in line with current employment legislation and business requirements. Further, you will create and facilitate connections and engagement within the Offshore Energy division, between employees and management, different business units and the wider Boskalis.
Your responsibilities as a Senior HR Advisor (Part-time)
- Providing HR advice and support on HR issues ensuring advice is professional, commercially solution based and focused on business requirements, whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
- Case management of employee relations including but not limited to sickness absence, performance management and leave issues.
- Working closely with the dedicated Recruiter to support and progress all ongoing recruitment activities
- Support L&D activities for designated area including creating and implementing development plans, managing development training requests and succession planning
- Focal point for Company training/development schemes including MPDS, APM, and Commercial & Finance Graduate Development and Engineering Trainee schemes
- Developing, maintaining and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring all relevant policies are in place and meet both business and legislative requirements, working with WOW guidelines
- Guide and facilitate in creating Human Excellence throughout the Business Unit - Performance & Development/Vitality/Diversity & Inclusion/Internal Mobility
- Employee benefit support and liaison with external benefit management provider
- Prepare monthly data for designated area of business for input to management reporting
- Develop strong relationships with relevant managers and employees to ensure delivery of a credible, value adding service
- Providing support, mentoring and training to junior members of team, knowledge sharing with colleagues, and supporting
- Deputising for Head of HR as required
We offer
You can make your mark as a Senior HR Advisor (Part-time) if you have:
- A relevant degree in Human Resources or Business and CIPD certification.
- Relevant work experience as a Senior or Lead HR Advisor preferably (but not essential) within the Oil & Gas industry
- Demonstration of managing multiple HR projects such as TUPE, redundancy and harmonisation.
- Experience of complex Employee Relations issues and facilitation/coaching skills.
- Confidence in dealing with multiple levels of internal stakeholders.
- Ability to increase level of responsibility as required (adhoc cover for Head of HR)
