Key Responsibilities

  • Serving as the primary legal point of contact for Photon Energy's business activities in Romania
  • Providing timely, pragmatic, and business-oriented legal advice to management and operational teams
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial contracts with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners
  • Supporting strategic business decisions by identifying legal risks, opportunities, and practical solutions
  • Advising on corporate, commercial, procurement, construction, and regulatory matters
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, corporate governance requirements, and Group standards
  • Managing legal claims, disputes, and litigation matters in cooperation with external legal advisors
  • Representing the company in dealings with public authorities, regulatory bodies, notaries, bailiffs, and other external stakeholders
  • Monitoring legislative developments and provide guidance on their impact on the business
  • Maintaining legal documentation, corporate records, permits, authorizations, and contract repositories

Qualifications and Experience

  • 4+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally gained in the energy, construction, infrastructure, or corporate sectors
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, and corporate governance
  • Experience supporting construction projects, procurement processes, or complex commercial transactions
  • Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and legal risk assessment skills
  • Fluent Romanian and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage projects and priorities
  • Resilient, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment
  • Strong analytical skills, professional curiosity, and a solution-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
