What They Do
LHN Energy Resources specializes in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and related electricity services primarily for the Singapore market. Their comprehensive service offering spans consultation, design, permitting, procurement, installation, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of solar PV installations, targeting commercial, industrial, and residential customers (source: lhnenergy.com). The company emphasizes an end-to-end turnkey model, providing a single provider solution for solar project development and post-installation operations rather than focusing solely on equipment sales (source: lhngroup.com). Their portfolio also includes EV charging infrastructure and solar carports, reflecting a strategic focus on distributed energy infrastructure in urban and commercial environments (source: seas.org.sg). Additionally, LHN Energy Resources acts as an authorized electricity retailer for subsidiaries, affiliates, and corporate clients, integrating electricity retail into their energy business segment (source: lhngroup.com).
Projects & Track Record
One of LHN Energy Resources' notable completed projects is the solar installation at 38 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2 in Singapore, featuring a system size of 433.32 kWp with 1,038 solar panels and an estimated annual energy generation of 519,984 kWh (source: linkedin.com). The company’s website lists numerous operating locations across Singapore, indicating a broad portfolio of distributed rooftop and site-based solar energy assets (source: lhnenergy.com). Expanding beyond rooftop PV, LHN Energy is actively developing solar carport projects such as the solar carport at Goldhill Plaza, launched in 2025, which integrates solar canopies with parking infrastructure to promote renewable energy in urban spaces (source: dei.com.sg). Their involvement in EV charging stations and solar carports further demonstrates their commitment to complementary clean energy infrastructure (source: seas.org.sg). The LHN Group portfolio confirms that LHN Energy Resources covers the full project lifecycle including engineering, procurement, design, construction, installation, operation, maintenance, and sale of solar PV generating facilities (source: lhngroup.com).
Recent Developments
In January 2023, LHN Energy Resources announced its relocation to a new office at 202 Kallang Bahru #08-08, Singapore 339339, sharing space with LHN Parking, signaling operational consolidation within the LHN Group (source: linkedin.com). The completion of the 38 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2 solar project was publicly posted in February 2023, marking a significant milestone in their project delivery (source: linkedin.com). In 2025, the launch of the solar carport at Goldhill Plaza highlighted the company’s expansion into solar-canopy infrastructure, reflecting product diversification and innovation in urban renewable energy solutions (source: dei.com.sg). Further, a 2026 profile by SEAS emphasized LHN Energy Resources’ growing presence in EV charging stations and solar carports, underscoring their strategic growth in clean energy infrastructure (source: seas.org.sg).
Working There
LHN Energy Resources offers roles across a broad spectrum of functions including solar consultation, design, permitting, procurement, installation, maintenance, monitoring, project delivery, and EV charging infrastructure development (source: lhnenergy.com). This implies employment opportunities in engineering, project management, operations and maintenance, commercial sales, and customer support, all focused on distributed energy projects (source: lhngroup.com). The company’s office footprint is concentrated in Singapore with locations including 10 Raeburn Park, 202 Kallang Bahru, and 75 Beach Road, supporting a small-to-mid-size team embedded within the larger LHN ecosystem (source: linkedin.com). Public posts about office relocation and project completions suggest a collaborative culture focused on integrated project delivery and operational excellence (source: linkedin.com).

LHN Energy is a growing energy solutions provider under the LHN Group, focused on delivering sustainable and innovative clean energy solutions across Singapore. As we continue to expand our footprint in the solar energy sector, we are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Solutions Architect, Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Solar to join our renewable energy team.
About the Role
This is a technical, client-facing role responsible for owning the front end of our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar opportunities - from understanding the client's site and energy requirements to developing a technically sound and costed solar solution.
You will work closely with clients, Business Development (BD) and our EPC/installation team to assess feasibility, develop preliminary system designs, prepare project costing and provide the technical foundation for commercial proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments at C&I premises, including evaluation of usable roof area, structural loading, orientation, shading, roof condition, cable routes and electrical/plant room access.
- Engage with clients to understand their energy requirements, load profile, electricity consumption, tariff, budget and preferred financing model, including outright purchase, PPA or leasing.
- Develop preliminary solar PV system designs, including array layouts, string configurations and inverter selection based on site conditions and client load profiles.
- Perform energy yield and system sizing analysis using PV design and simulation tools such as PVsyst, Helioscope or equivalent.
- Prepare project costing and Bill of Quantities (BOQ), covering equipment, balance of system (BOS), mounting structures, installation and other technical requirements.
- Assess regulatory and grid connection requirements, including SP PowerGrid, EMA and LEW/QP requirements, and identify potential technical, cost or timeline implications.
- Prepare clear and structured technical scope and costing packages for the BD team to develop commercial proposals.
- Support BD during tender submissions, client presentations, negotiations and technical clarifications.
- Work closely with the EPC/installation team to ensure proposed solutions are practical, buildable and aligned with project specifications and PV layout standards.
- Coordinate with LEW/QP on formal electrical designs, Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and regulatory submissions where required.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in solar PV design, C&I EPC, renewable energy solutions or technical pre-sales/solutions roles.
- Strong understanding of C&I rooftop solar PV systems and the ability to assess site and roof feasibility.
- Good knowledge of LV electrical systems, grid connection requirements and solar PV system components, including modules, inverters and protection systems.
- Experience in project costing, BOQ preparation and the ability to validate and defend technical assumptions and pricing.
- Working knowledge of Singapore's solar regulatory and grid connection requirements, including SP PowerGrid, EMA and LEW/QP requirements.
- Proficiency in solar PV design and simulation software such as PVsyst, Helioscope or equivalent, as well as AutoCAD.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, commercially minded approach.
- Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) or Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification.
- Experience with Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), solar leasing or other renewable energy financing models.
- Experience with rooftop, ground-mounted and carpark/solar-carport installations.
- Experience working with C&I clients, facilities teams, consultants or EPC contractors.
Why Join Us
- Be part of the growing renewable energy and solar industry.
- Own the technical solution from initial site assessment through to a buildable and costed project scope.
- Work directly with clients and cross-functional teams across BD, EPC and project delivery.
- Enjoy a role focused on technical solutions and project development, rather than cold-calling or pure business development.
- Gain exposure to a wide range of C&I solar projects and commercial energy solutions.
