About the role

We're seeking a strategic and technically capable Platform Lead - ServiceNow to lead the ongoing evolution of AGL's enterprise ServiceNow platform. As the Product Owner for the platform, you'll be responsible for its roadmap, governance, optimisation and continuous improvement, ensuring it delivers measurable value across ITSM, SIAM, CMDB, ITAM, AIOps and emerging AI capabilities. You'll work closely with technology leaders, vendors and delivery teams to shape a modern, scalable and trusted service management platform that supports AGL's technology strategy.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the ServiceNow platform strategy, roadmap, governance and operational direction.
  • Act as Product Owner, managing the platform vision, investment priorities, backlog and value realisation.
  • Drive continuous improvement across ITSM, SIAM, CMDB, ITAM, Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management.
  • Lead CMDB and CSDM maturity initiatives, improving data quality, reporting and platform effectiveness.
  • Govern platform releases, enhancements and demand prioritisation to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
  • Manage vendor and managed service provider relationships, driving performance and service improvements.
  • Champion platform security, compliance and AI governance while supporting broader enterprise technology objectives.

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience working within medium to large-scale ServiceNow environments in a Platform Owner, Product Owner or technical leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITIL and enterprise service management best practices.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, including platform administration, configuration, integrations, workflows and release management.
  • Experience driving CMDB, CSDM, Service Mapping and Discovery initiatives to improve operational visibility and service management outcomes.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage vendors and balance competing business priorities.
  • A background in ServiceNow administration, development, platform engineering or technical implementation.
  • ServiceNow CSA, CPOA and ITIL 4 certifications are highly regarded, along with experience in AIOps, AI-enabled workflows and enterprise automation.
