What They Do
Anávo is a boutique recruitment agency that specializes in connecting businesses with talent in the renewable energy, environment, and sustainability sectors. Unlike traditional energy companies, Anávo does not engage in energy generation or technology development; instead, it focuses on providing recruitment services tailored to the unique needs of the clean energy industry. The agency offers a range of services including permanent recruitment, project and specialist hire, global mobility solutions, executive search, and temporary recruitment, ensuring that clients have access to the right talent for their specific projects and initiatives (source: linkedin.com).
Projects & Track Record
While Anávo does not directly manage projects, it plays a crucial role in staffing significant initiatives within the renewable energy sector. The agency has successfully placed talent in various projects across multiple countries, supporting clients such as Yingli Green Energy Australia, Akuo Energy Pacific, Cress Consulting, and Elecnor. These partnerships highlight Anávo's commitment to connecting skilled professionals with organizations that are driving innovation and sustainability in the energy landscape (source: linkedin.com).
Recent Developments
In 2024, Anávo underwent a significant rebranding initiative, establishing itself as a dedicated sustainable brand within the Polyglot Group. This rebranding reflects the agency's mission to ignite positive change by bridging the gap between businesses and talent in the renewable energy sector. The new name, inspired by the Greek word meaning "to ignite," signifies Anávo's commitment to fostering partnerships that drive sustainability and innovation (source: linkedin.com). This initiative has unified the previously separate renewable energy and environment talent acquisition teams under a cohesive global brand while maintaining the complementary services offered by Polyglot Group.
Working There
Anávo is a small organization with approximately 10 employees, fostering a culture that emphasizes true partnership and collaboration over transactional relationships. The agency's core values include trust, a passion for sustainability, knowledge development, and a genuine care for both client and candidate success. Job roles advertised through Anávo's platform include project managers, sales managers, compliance managers, and various engineering positions, many of which require specific language capabilities for large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects in Australia (source: linkedin.com). This focus on partnership and specialized recruitment services positions Anávo as a trusted ally in the renewable energy sector.
