As an Electrical Protection Engineer, you will be part of our Smart Infrastructure - Electrification and Automation team in Milan, contributing to the development, testing, and commissioning of energy automation systems for medium- and high-voltage electrical substations and power plants.

Your day-to-day activities will include protection relay configuration, testing and commissioning activities, fault analysis, and close collaboration with engineering teams to deliver innovative and reliable energy automation solutions.

You'll make an impact by

  • Configuring protection relays, including SIPROTEC devices, according to functional and logic diagrams.
  • Performing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of electrical automation systems.
  • Supporting and executing Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) during commissioning activities.
  • Analyzing fault recordings and disturbance waveforms using oscilloperturbographic records.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to develop innovative and smart solutions for energy automation systems.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in protection engineering or substation automation.
