Key Responsibilities
- Offer hands-on support to experienced Project Mangers on complex projects
- Project execution from A to Z of low-complexity projects
- Pre-start site inspection and site-specific agreements (e.g. accommodation and subcontractors)
- Planning and resource allocation by cooperation with Resource Management and Warehouse teams (equipment and manpower)
- Customer contact, ensuring that our customers' requirements are fulfilled
- Preparation, coordination and maintenance of project documentation
- Ensuring injury-free execution of projects in compliance with client contract and obligations
- Regular contact to employees at site; demonstrating "visible leadership"
- Performance monitoring and follow-up; progress reporting to clients
- Control costs and follow-up on budget
- Invoicing of project related costs
Requirements
Personal Qualifications
- A degree in Project Management, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
- 1-2 years of experience with project management of construction sites or engineering projects, or newly graduated Project Manager
- A can-do and hands-on attitude, with eagerness to learn the GWS Project Management Model
- A flexible mindset with the ability to maintain a clear overview in a fast-paced working environment
- A good contractual understanding and some technical insight and understanding is beneficial in the role
- An understanding of the value of good stakeholder management, balancing interests and finding solutions
- Team player
- Solution-oriented, flexible, proactive and communicating in an open-minded and respectful manner with stakeholders at all levels
