Job description
As a Data Migration Manager (f/m/d), you play a key role in driving successful SAP S/4HANA transformation programs across Siemens Energy. You work closely with business data owners, process experts, SAP functional teams, solution architects, and implementation partners to ensure that business-critical master and transactional data is governed, cleansed, migrated, and validated for future-state business processes. Throughout the migration lifecycle, you lead data assessment and quality improvement initiatives, define migration requirements and governance standards, coordinate migration rehearsals and cutover activities, and proactively manage risks and dependencies. By combining strong stakeholder management skills with deep expertise in Data Governance, Master Data Management, and SAP data migration, you enable trusted data and a seamless transition to our future digital landscape.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead end-to-end data migration workstreams within global SAP S/4HANA transformation and ERP modernization programs
- Define and execute data migration strategies covering data assessment, profiling, cleansing, mapping, validation, mock migrations, cutover planning, and go-live readiness
- Establish and drive Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders and implementation partners to align migration scope with target business processes
- Manage migration risks, issue resolution, reporting, audit requirements, and stakeholder communication
- Continuously improve migration methodologies, governance frameworks, and migration tooling
What You Bring
- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, combined with a strong foundation in enterprise data management and digital transformation
- Extensive experience leading data migration workstreams within SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, ERP, or large-scale transformation programs
- Proven expertise in Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Master Data Management (MDM), and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
- Strong knowledge of the complete data migration lifecycle including data profiling, cleansing, mapping, ETL, testing, cutover, and hypercare support
- Hands-on experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, LTMOM, SAP BODS, Syniti ADM, or comparable solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skill
