What They Do
RevoluSun Idaho operates as a locally owned and operated full-service solar and energy storage installer serving Idaho and Eastern Washington. Established as part of the broader RevoluSun brand that began in 2009 with its first office in Hawaii, the company focuses on photovoltaic solar installations, Tesla Solar Roof systems, energy storage via Tesla Powerwall, SPAN smart electrical panels, and EV charging solutions. This positions RevoluSun Idaho as Idaho and Eastern Washington's premier certified Tesla Energy Installer (source: idaho.revolusun.com).
The company has installed over 10,000 systems company-wide since its inception, with over 9,000 solar systems specifically in Idaho. Their products and services include rooftop photovoltaic panels paired with Tesla inverters, Tesla Solar Roof for complex roof geometries, and tailored commercial solar systems. Target markets encompass residential homeowners seeking bill savings and energy independence, as well as commercial businesses requiring custom designs (source: cdachamber.com).
Competitive differentiators include local expertise for climate-adapted systems, aesthetically clean installations, and a comprehensive process involving energy assessments and full permitting management. The company prides itself on its high ratings in durability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, making it a trusted name in the solar industry (source: idaho.revolusun.com).
Projects & Track Record
While specific notable projects are not individually named in public records, RevoluSun Idaho reports having installed over 9,000 solar systems across Idaho and over 10,000 total since 2009. These installations include residential photovoltaic setups with Panasonic panels and Tesla Powerwalls, as well as Powerwall-only installations. Customer reviews from 2023-2024 highlight specific installations, such as a Tesla Powerwall in Stites, Idaho, and a full system in Star, Idaho, showcasing the company's commitment to quality and customer service (source: solarreviews.com).
Although there are no current major projects publicly detailed, the company maintains a strong presence in residential markets across Boise, Meridian, and Star, with commercial capabilities also offered. Partnerships emphasize Tesla certification and past use of Panasonic panels, reinforcing their reputation as a leading installer in the region (source: idaho.revolusun.com).
Recent Developments
In the last two years, RevoluSun Idaho has not announced any major contracts, acquisitions, or funding rounds. However, the company continues to hold its status as a Tesla Premier Certified Installer and is recognized as a top-ranked installer in Idaho by Tesla and Solar World Magazine. A related development occurred in April 2023 when the Massachusetts franchise rebranded to Solaris Renewables, confirming local ownership models but having no direct impact on Idaho operations (source: solarisrenewables.com).
Working There
RevoluSun Idaho offers various roles, including Solar Installer, with opportunities available in Idaho and Washington. The company has departments focused on sales, operations, and installation, with project developers managing assessments and custom designs, and project ambassadors overseeing permitting and utility coordination. Hiring occurs at both the Boise and Coeur d’Alene offices, serving the full service area (source: idaho.revolusun.com).
Company culture is highlighted by excellent communication, professionalism, and a customer-first approach, with reviews noting high satisfaction levels and a reputation for going above and beyond in service.
