With over 200 projects successfully delivered worldwide and offices across Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Australia, we provide Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC), Project Development, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and Technical Consulting services.

We are currently looking for an organized and experienced Warehouse Keeper to join our project team in Mauritania.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Keeper will be responsible for the effective management of materials, equipment, tools, and spare parts at the project warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, proper storage, timely issuance, and compliance with company procedures and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse operations at the project site.
  • Receive, inspect, identify, and properly store incoming materials, equipment, tools, and spare parts.
  • Verify delivered materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and relevant documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.
  • Organize materials according to type, usage, storage requirements, and project procedures.
  • Ensure proper identification, labeling, and traceability of stored materials.
  • Prepare and issue materials to site teams based on approved requests.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical stock counts.
  • Report damaged, missing, expired, or excess materials to the relevant departments.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics teams regarding deliveries, shortages, and material requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate storage conditions for electrical, mechanical, construction, and other project materials.
  • Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
  • Follow all company HSE procedures and warehouse safety requirements.
  • Support stock reconciliation and periodic inventory audits.
  • Prepare regular warehouse and inventory reports as required.
  • Assist with the management of project tools, equipment, and consumables.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Keeper, Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role, preferably in construction, renewable energy, power generation, or industrial projects.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling.
  • Experience with receiving, issuing, storing, and tracking materials.
  • Ability to maintain accurate stock records and documentation.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse/inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced project environment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse HSE requirements and safe material handling practices.
  • Fluency in English is preferred; French is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in Mauritania or other African projects is an advantage.
