Solar Consultant

The Solar Consultant is a full-time, hybrid role based in San Fernando, CA, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves conducting consultations with residential and commercial prospects to assess energy needs, explain solar and battery solutions, and present tailored proposals. The Solar Consultant will manage the sales cycle from lead qualification through contract signing, including follow-up, scheduling site visits, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoffs. Day-to-day responsibilities include educating customers on financing options, incentives, and LA Solar Group's products, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and achieving sales and customer satisfaction targets. The role also requires ongoing market and product knowledge, participation in training, and representing the company at events or outreach activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Consulting and Consulting skills for guiding prospects through solar solutions and closing deals.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to build trust, manage expectations, and maintain long-term relationships.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible language.
• Experience in solar, renewable energy, or home improvement sales is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and use CRM or sales software tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for evaluating site conditions, energy usage, and financing options.
• High level of integrity, a consultative mindset, and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive customer interactions.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for site visits and client meetings; bilingual skills are a plus.
