Electrical Engineer (m/w/d)

To strengthen our electrical technical department, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) to join a team engaged in the development of utility-scale plants, with a particular focus on the photovoltaic sector.

The role will be involved in the design, construction, and grid connection of plants (5-50 MW) to the high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) networks of Terna and e-distribuzione.

Your main responsibilities include

• collaboration with the internal development department and relations with the national grid operator for plant connection procedures;
• electrical design for permitting purposes, ensuring compliance with both internal and external requirements;
• detailed engineering design of plants, selection of components, and support to procurement and operations departments;
• technical support for optimizing photovoltaic and wind projects during the various development and implementation phases;
• technical coordination with external consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders;
• site visits during construction, testing and commissioning phases.

Required qualifications

• technical diploma or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering;
• good knowledge of AutoCAD and Excel;
• ability to read and develop MV/HV electrical diagrams;
• team-working attitude and ability to manage technical contracts/projects;
• good command of English and Italian (minimum B2 level);
• residence or domicile in nearby areas or willingness to relocate.

Preferred criteria

• experience in renewables as a Project Engineer;
• experience in electrical design of large-scale photovoltaic plants;
• knowledge of software such as NEPLAN and PVSYST.

Job classification: C2 - Gross annual salary starting from €26,843.44, with the final compensation based on the candidate's professional experience and qualifications.
