Invenergy follows a hybrid schedule, working in office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays if work permits.

The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will be highly involved in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting within the Financial Planning and Analysis team, which operates within the Financial Operations organization of Invenergy. This role reports to the Senior Manager FP&A and will provide key support across a broad range of financial planning activities, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of companywide financial reporting and long-term forecasting. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the long-term forecasting for segments within Invenergy's renewables business for monthly presentations and deliverables to leadership.
- Support the preparation of FP&A materials for quarterly board meetings with external partners, including reporting, forecast updates and tracking variances to prior versions of the forecast.
- Contribute to the forecasting and tracking of payments, security postings, and refunds for interconnection queue positions within specific regions to ensure that Invenergy's projects advance successfully and that liquidity position is improved.
- Assist in the monthly preparation, review, and reporting of the companywide budget vs. actual performance.
- Conduct a monthly review of spend and pipeline updates for development projects and prepare reporting to be distributed to leadership.
- Support the annual budgeting process for Invenergy's renewables business.
- Assist with financial statement forecast modeling for Invenergy's renewables business segments.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards to provide enhanced reporting throughout the Company.
- Coordinate with the Treasury group to ensure that long-term and short-term forecasts are in sync.
- Identify opportunities to automate tasks and processes via AI solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Team player who is able to coordinate productively across departments to achieve companywide goals.
- Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Proactive individual who is able to identify action items required from their end and take the necessary steps to complete them.
- Attentive to detail and able to interpret the impact that tasks have on overall company goals.
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Oracle, OneStream, Microsoft Power BI, and utilizing Microsoft Copilot to automate tasks is a plus.
Base Pay
$72,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 15%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
