Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced and strategic Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end service delivery across multiple teams, locations, and Business Units within the CSS Supply Chain Management organization. Reporting to the Delivery Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, digital transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement across supply chain and procurement operations.

As a leader of leaders, you will oversee multiple Team Leaders and enable high-performing, geographically distributed teams to consistently achieve targets related to service quality, productivity, compliance, cost efficiency, and customer experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence strategic direction while translating organizational priorities into measurable business outcomes through innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of supply chain and procurement services across multiple Business Units and global stakeholder groups.
  • Drive operational performance against established service, quality, productivity, compliance, and cost metrics.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Team Leaders to build a strong leadership pipeline and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Establish strong partnerships with Business Unit leaders, SCM managers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of priorities and business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, standardization, Lean methodologies, and operational excellence practices.
  • Lead performance governance through regular business reviews, KPI monitoring, escalation management, and corrective action planning.
  • Identify operational risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure service continuity and compliance.
  • Support workforce planning, resource allocation, capability development, and succession planning to meet current and future business demands.
  • Champion digital transformation by leveraging automation, analytics, artificial intelligence, and technology-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning across teams.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making through effective use of operational analytics and business insights.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, compliance requirements, internal controls, and supply chain governance standards.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree or professional certifications in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or Change Management would be advantageous.
  • 15-20 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sourcing, Planning, Shared Services, or Global Business Services environments.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and procurement processes.
  • Experience working within shared services, global business services, or centralized operations models.
  • Proven track record of leading large, geographically dispersed teams and developing people leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of operational excellence, Lean methodologies, continuous improvement frameworks, and process optimization.
  • Experience managing service delivery through KPI governance, performance dashboards, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Understanding of risk management, compliance requirements, and internal control frameworks within supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing digital solutions, automation initiatives, analytics, and AI-driven process improvements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global organization.
