As a Performance Accountant, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the systems that underpin project delivery, financial governance and regulatory reporting across our business.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across Energy Networks and Iberdrola, helping ensure that critical business systems support efficient project delivery and provide accurate financial and regulatory information. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance business performance and support strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

You'll act as a key link between Energy Networks and Iberdrola Control for matters relating to Portfolio & Project Management, Plant Maintenance and SAP CO systems. Working alongside colleagues across the business, you'll help resolve system queries, support users and ensure the integrity of financial and project-related information.

You'll maintain and enhance core system processes to support statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, provide expert guidance on project management processes, and help build capability across the business through training and knowledge sharing. You'll also support continuous improvements that strengthen system performance and business outcomes.

What you'll bring

You'll bring experience working within financial or performance-focused environments and be comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll enjoy solving problems, improving processes and working collaboratively to deliver practical solutions.

Experience and skills we're looking for include:

  • Practical experience working with SAP.
  • Strong Excel capability and confidence analysing data.
  • Knowledge of financial, commercial and governance processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and coordinating actions.
  • Ability to identify and implement solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Sound commercial judgement and appreciation of risk and governance requirements.
