Are you passionate about battery technology and solving complex technical challenges? Ready to help accelerate the energy transition by maximizing the performance and reliability of our battery fleet? Become a Battery System Specialist at Greener!

We are Greener Power Solutions. Our mission is to make the temporary energy market emission-free with our mobile batteries. These batteries can be deployed anywhere to store and supply energy. It's an important mission, and we could really use your help.

Join our dynamic Service team-this is where the magic happens! Our team plays a crucial role in the company, ensuring that our battery fleet operates safely, reliably, and efficiently across a wide variety of projects.

As a BESS Specialist, you are the technical expert behind the performance of our mobile battery energy storage systems. You combine hands-on technical work with in-depth troubleshooting and analysis, helping us maximize fleet availability while continuously improving our products and processes.

You'll investigate and resolve complex technical issues involving battery management systems (BMS), PCS, inverters, PLC-controlled systems, SCADA/EMS platforms, safety systems, communication networks, and other critical components. By analysing alarms, fault codes, log files, operational data and system behavior you identify root causes and work on structural improvements that reduce downtime and increase reliability.

You play a key role in supporting our Service Engineers, Remote Support team and other operational colleagues. You develop troubleshooting guides, service and maintenance procedures, inspection standards and best practices that enable our engineers to work more effectively. When specialist support is required, you'll occasionally travel to project sites, hubs or workshops to perform or support advanced troubleshooting.

You will also work closely with OEMs and suppliers, preparing technical escalations, validating proposed solutions and translating technical information into practical actions for internal teams. Through your expertise, you help shape maintenance strategies, support product improvements, and contribute to the continued growth and diversification of Greener's battery fleet.

What They Do

Greener Power Solutions specializes in providing temporary mobile battery systems and related software for projects that require more power than the local electricity grid can supply. Rather than traditional renewable energy development, the company focuses on renting mobile batteries as an alternative to diesel generators, with applications such as peak shaving, grid reinforcement, temporary EV charging stations, and off-grid power supply (source: greenerpowersolutions.com, linkedin.com). Their systems can be combined with solar panels, wind turbines, and hydrogen generators, all managed through proprietary software that provides real-time insights into energy consumption and CO2 savings (source: prnewswire.com, greenerpowersolutions.com). The focus is on temporary energy solutions for sectors such as construction and infrastructure, events and festivals, EV charging networks, logistics, and rental companies, emphasizing fast delivery and 24/7 monitoring (source: greenerpowersolutions.com, linkedin.com).

Projects & Track Record

Over the past five years, Greener Power Solutions has completed more than 1,000 projects across 12 European countries, helping clients save 18.5 million liters of diesel and avoid 95,000 tons of CO2 emissions (source: greenerpowersolutions.com). Their projects range from stadium concerts and the 2026 Winter Olympics to electric pile drivers, tower cranes, peak shaving for MRI and CT scanners, temporary classrooms, and major renovations (source: greenerpowersolutions.com). The scale of their solutions varies from a single battery at one site to 19 batteries delivering a combined 4.5 MW of temporary grid capacity, serving a wide spectrum of temporary energy needs (source: greenerpowersolutions.com).

In 2023, the company expanded into the United Kingdom, focusing on replacing diesel generators with batteries and entering the EV charging and grid markets (source: greenerpowersolutions.com). In July 2025, Jasper van den Driest was appointed as the new CEO, taking over from co-founder Dieter Castelein on September 1, 2025, marking the start of a new growth phase (source: prnewswire.com).

Working There
