About PSC SOLAR UK
Company Overview
PSC SOLAR UK (also styled “PSC SOLAR (UK)” or “PSC Industries/PSC Solar Industries”)
Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
1989
Employee count and revenue figures for 2023 or later are not publicly verifiable; the company appears to be privately held (source: pscsolaruk.com).
What They Do
PSC SOLAR UK specializes in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery energy storage solutions, integrating inverters and balance-of-system equipment into their offerings. The company markets a variety of products including inverters, solar panels, deep-cycle batteries, charge controllers, and solar streetlights, alongside providing comprehensive installation and maintenance services (source: pscsolaruk.com). Their product range caters to both residential and commercial clients, as well as government and utility sectors, with claims of project delivery across private estates and public projects in West Africa (source: solarkobo.com). The company emphasizes its integrated supply chain, which includes retail, distribution, and installation, positioning itself as a mid-tier local provider in the solar market (source: zoominfo.com).
Projects & Track Record
PSC SOLAR UK has a diverse portfolio of installations ranging from small residential systems to larger commercial and industrial setups across West Africa, including countries like Benin, Ghana, Niger, and Togo (source: solarkobo.com). However, detailed records of major utility-scale projects, including capacities and costs, are limited and not readily available in public procurement portals or international project databases. The company has also promoted innovative products such as solar hand wash/sanitizer stations during the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing its adaptability to market needs (source: vanguardngr.com). Despite the absence of a verifiable client list or major project documentation, PSC SOLAR UK continues to engage with local communities through promotional events and customer engagement initiatives (source: solarkobo.com).
Recent Developments
In the last two years, PSC SOLAR UK has not publicly disclosed any major corporate events such as acquisitions or significant funding rounds, as evidenced by a lack of coverage in major international energy news outlets (source: pscsolaruk.com). The company’s website primarily features product listings and community engagement promotions rather than major contracts or awards, indicating a focus on local market activities rather than large-scale corporate transactions (source: solarkobo.com). This limited reporting suggests that while the company is active in its marketing efforts, it may not be pursuing large-scale projects or partnerships that would typically attract broader media attention (source: vanguardngr.com).
Working There
Information regarding employment opportunities at PSC SOLAR UK is somewhat limited, with the company primarily providing product and contact information rather than detailed career resources. Typical roles within the solar integration sector, such as sales, installation engineers, and technical service positions, are likely to be available, although specific job postings or organizational details are not publicly listed (source: pscsolaruk.com). The company operates from its headquarters in Ikeja and has a branch in Lekki, which may serve as potential hiring locations (source: pscsolaruk.com). However, without a formal employee handbook or benefits summary available, prospective employees may need to inquire directly about compensation, healthcare, and other employment benefits during the recruitment process (source: solarfeeds.com).
