We are expanding our activities and currently looking for a two new talented Software Development – a software developer and a senior software developer. The description below is for the Newly Graduated Software Developer.

About the Job

You will develop tools internally to accelerate workflow in our teams, with focus on our data-intensive PtX project analysis- and simulation-tool for our modelling team. You will have a high impact across the project, be it backend or frontend.

Right now, we are a small self-managed team of two developers. We are looking for two new colleagues to join us - as senior and a newly graduated.

Our current platform is 1 year in the making, no legacy, 100% test coverage.

You will be a part of a team how takes the lead in turning current ad-hoc and customized analytical deliverables into stand-alone software products on a complex domain with challenging business rules.

Your main responsibilities include developing new features, using our internal platform to setup new projects, and supporting our consultants.

Our technologies are:

  • Python
  • Small Angular frontend
  • Git (Github)
  • Windows/Linux
  • Tentative ClojureScript Frond-end
  • Notion

Our headquarters in Aalborg will be your working place.

About You

You are a dedicated coder with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You thrive in an international environment and have the ability to decompose complex client requirements into readable and maintainable code.

Furthermore we expect that you:

  • like code-craftmanship, clean-code and testing.
  • prioritize quality over quantity.
  • are familiarity or interest in learning Python and its production tooling for environment isolation, testing, linting, type checking.
  • are interest in learning Energy Supply Chain domain, Power-to-X and associated methods mathematical modelling, like Linear Programming.
  • are familiarity with Azure, Github Actions, Docker is a plus although not required.
