Do you want to help us accelerate the green transition? We seek a skilled and driven IT Business Analyst to join our IT Development team. You will join a team that sets the global IT agenda and a company that puts its people first.

About the Job

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be crucial in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Your analytical mindset, communication skills, and understanding of complex systems will contribute to successful project outcomes.

The IT team consists of 6 people. Your colleagues in the team value a casual and friendly atmosphere and have a supportive approach.

In collaboration with your colleagues, you are responsible for developing and integrating systems used throughout the company to meet the needs of a growing organization.

Your primary responsibilities will consist of:

  • Facilitate improvements to business systems and processes by engaging stakeholders and assisting with requirements gathering, feasibility assessments, business process modeling, and acceptance testing.
  • Hands-on development and integration of IT solutions.
  • Leverage Microsoft Power Platform to create efficient workflows and automate processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams and external consultants to integrate systems and applications.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user guides.
  • Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide second-level support to users on business systems.
  • There is a strong focus on Microsoft products, but other suppliers are used when needed.

Examples of tasks/projects in the role:

  • Implementation of a data platform for improved reporting and analytics.
  • Implementation of Data Loss Prevention policies in all sensitive data systems.
  • Definition and implementation of a Power Platform governance policy.
  • Determine where and how AI can be utilized in the company, including testing and roll-out of Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Your daily work will be at our headquarters in Aalborg, John F. Kennedys Plads 43, with a flexible work environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must value teamwork, enjoy working close to the business, and drive continuous improvements, ensuring the robustness and scalability of the company.

Preferably, we expect you to enrich our business with the following experience:

    • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, particularly hands-on in the development and implementation of IT solutions/projects.
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge about how to use APIs
  • Prior experience with programming/coding
  • Fluent in English, as we are a global company.
