About the Role

As our PMO Specialist, you will contribute to developing, managing, and driving the global PMO toolbox as a part of the Global Project Support department in Blue Power Partners.

Department Overview

The Global Project Support department is a part of the onshore business unit and is a dynamic and innovative department committed to driving excellence in project management. The department consists of three respective teams:

  • PMO toolbox
  • Global business finance & project controlling
  • Content & material

The PMO toolbox team is a recent addition to the company, aiming to enhance project management efficiency across the organization by defining and maintaining project management standards and practices.

Role Summary

The right candidate will be a key person in defining the toolbox scope of supply towards project execution departments and clients. You will play a crucial role in driving, developing, and managing the PMO toolbox.

You will primarily collaborate with the existing team members, the department lead, and key stakeholders in the project execution teams to ensure that the scope-of-supply of the PMO toolbox meets the project- and client requirements.

On top of that, you will be directly involved in communication with our client’s PMO team and represent a key role in navigating client norms and requirements toward project execution departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • PMO documentation: Development of PMO material (documentation templates/standards, tools, training material, and systems/solutions).
  • PMO hub: Manage, develop, and maintain the PMO hub, a managed knowledge- and document repository interface of the PMO toolbox towards project execution.
  • PMO toolbox services: Develop and manage the PMO toolbox services towards project execution and client.
  • PMO compliance: Actively promote compliance with PMO standards, methodologies, and documentation standards towards project execution.
  • Training and guidance: Provide training/guidance in PMO toolbox material/products primarily towards project execution. Identify knowledge gaps and concretize gaps into new toolbox initiatives/tasks.
  • Project roll-out, PMO toolbox domains: Provide roll-out support service on the various domains of the PMO toolbox to projects via cooperation with project execution.
  • PMO ambassadors: Build and maintain an internal PMO toolbox ambassador network, ensuring reach across the global offices and projects.
  • Reporting: Report on PMO toolbox developments, focus, and priority to provide insights to support department- and management decision-making.
  • Data analysis: Collect, track, and analyze PMO toolbox application- and usage data to provide insights and recommendations toward project execution.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in project management or PMO roles.
  • Certifications: PMI PMP / CAPM or other relevant certifications are preferred.
  • SharePoint and Office 365.
  • Fluent in English, as we are a global company.
