As a Working Student for Supply Market Intelligence, you will be doing statistical analysis of historic market prices and forecasting of future market trends.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Cooperate and have a close communication with the project manager and with the project team throughout the execution
  • Support in project controlling
  • Comply with all Siemens Energy internal rules on taxation and contractual obligations
  • Provide planning and forecast support for BA Head
  • Create presentations for colleagues and internal stakeholders on activities, research and results
  • Liaise with data providers and maintain accuracy in databases
  • Support Market analysis and raw material price forecasts
  • Research relevant geo-political developments and calculate the impact on Siemens Energy
  • Support in maintaining databases for market intelligence and global supply risk and resilience
  • Support in the implementation of various improvement and IT projects within Procurement

What You Bring

  • Economic field of studies or technical; ongoing or finalized master’s degree
  • Statistical knowledge nice to have
  • Quick learner with a strong work ethic
  • Maintain a high level of professional involvement
  • Ability to show flexibility and to take initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preoccupation for professional development
  • English language required
  • IT skills are nice to have
  • Excellent skills to use Microsoft Office pack (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
