Contact Information
As part of our team, you will be responsible for auxiliaries systems of steam-/ gas turbine and generator, both in research and development and in first time application of customer projects. Most every day will be different – some days you will be able to focus on development of auxiliaries systems. On other days, you will explain operational topics to internal colleagues, suppliers, or customers. Sometimes you will have to shift your priorities at a moment’s notice to support urgent unplanned work packages like supporting commissioning tasks or resolving site issues. Either way, you will collaborate with a global cross-organizational team with different technical and cultural backgrounds.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the auxiliaries’ systems
- Qualifying possible suppliers for process engineering components/ modules, check technical feasibility and manufacturing possibilities
- Responsibility for supplier selection, reviews, and execution of the first project
- R&D budget and schedule responsibility
- Preparation of standard documents and specifications (incl. drawings, calculation tools, data sheets, system piping & instrumentation diagrams, I&C, etc.)
- Perform cross-functional interface clarification with internal and external parties (e.g., supplier, customer, engineering network)
- Be part of an inspiring team of engineers in global team
What You Bring
- Bachelor or Master's degree in the field of process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable discipline
- Many years of professional experience and good knowledge in at least one of the above-mentioned disciplines
- Experience in a process industry-related environment (e.g. power generation, oil and gas) is beneficial
- Profound knowledge in the use of MS-Office
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to jointly develop innovative solutions in interdisciplinary teams
- Analytical mindset and systematic work approach
- Understanding customer requirements, developing concepts and solutions
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
