In the Chief Technology Office’s Digital Portfolio team, we are bringing together our product and portfolio managers, customers, and sales specialists with one goal only: Improve and transform our digital products and services to enable our customer to master the challenges ahead. Support utilities and grid operators to upgrade their grids for e-cars and renewable energy in the fastest and most efficient way. Build manufacturing processes that improve use of renewable energy. Make buildings and neighborhoods smarter and more sustainable.

We are looking for an expert Enterprise Architect (f/m/d) with a strong expertise in digital offerings that manage energy consumption for commercial and industrial customers. Your focus will not only be on the overall architecture for our energy management portfolio but also on the implementation of the required adaptations and changes of existing offerings. You will work closely with product management colleagues, coordinate portfolio alignment and development, and orchestrate portfolio requirement management.

What your typical week will look like

  • Designing system architectures that integrate various energy management systems, such as microgrids, demand response systems, flexibility management, and energy monitoring offerings
  • Identifying and evaluating appropriate technologies, frameworks, and protocols for energy management systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, and data analysts, to ensure the successful implementation of energy management solutions.
  • Drive the strategic roadmap and tactical product execution for an integrated product portfolio setup
  • Ensure on time delivery of tasks from all businesses and workstreams
  • Take ownership for the management of internal and external collaborators
  • Supervising industry trends and advancements in energy management technologies to stay up to date with market trends
  • Coordinating portfolio alignment and development, and orchestrate portfolio requirement management
  • Be the “go-to-person” for Energy Management at Smart Infrastructure

What you should be able to do. So that the world can do more

  • You have successfully completed your Master’s degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, software architecture and similar or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • You acquired many years of professional and proven experience in system architecture in the field of digital energy management offerings (e.g. microgrid solutions, EV charging, demand-response management, renewable integration, energy efficient buildings)
  • You demonstrate initiative and do not hesitate to contribute your own ideas and put them into practice
  • You have outstanding problem-solving skills by identifying obstacles and challenges and proactively seek solutions to successfully complete projects
  • You developed reliable communication skills communicating clearly and effectively with various stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and information exchange
  • You are looking forward to working in an interdisciplinary team, interacting closely with customers, and sharing your expertise with non-tech people. You feel comfortable in international and remote environments
  • Proficiency in English rounds off your profile. Additional languages, especially German, are a plus
